Yesterday, power pop rock outfit Eleventyseven updated their fans on the latest happenings in the band - including the exit of the band's bass player and some new music on the horizon...
Lots of exciting things are going on in the world of Eleventyseven. This year we have played more countries than ever before. We made the top ten bands in the MEAD FiveStar Music Insider (http://www.fivestarmusicinsider.com/#) Recently we established a new studio which allows us to rehearse as a band working on NEW songs and ultimately doing what this band was created to do: bring you the best possible music out there and with each album and with each show played to be better than the one before.
In the life of a band it is inevitable that changes occur. With this announcement after the Sweden trip, July 15th will be founding member and bassist Caleb Satterfield last show. Many of you know that this past May Caleb got married and with much prayer Caleb felt with this season it is best for him to focus on his marriage and not be on the road.
“I learned much about God, life, joy, failure, fear, and love firsthand while out on the road. I even met my wife. And now, as my time with Eleventyseven is coming to an end, I am nothing but grateful for the opportunities I have had to serve the Lord in Eleventyseven.” Caleb Satterfield
Our thoughts, prayers and support go out to Caleb for this next season in his life.
As it is time for you to say goodbye, we are ready to introduce you to the newest edition to Elevenseven. Davey. You might remember Davey when he filled in for Matt last year on guitar after the thumb crushing accident. You can follow Davey on twitter @eleventydavey and look for more videos, blogs and information about Davey coming soon!
As always thanks for all your support we are very excited to bring you new music and also getting on the road this fall. Keep checking the tour dates and don’t forget to vote for www.fivestarmusicinsider.com
Until next time,
Eleventyseven
